With three days to the start of the 2017 FIFA Under 17 World Cup, the Black Starlets have completed their first training session in New Delhi, India following their arrival on Sunday.
During a 3-week training tour in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Paa Kwesi Fabin’s side lost to African champions Mali by 2-1 and thumped Guinea 6-1 in their preparatory games.
Speaking after an interaction with Ghana’s Ambassador in India, Paa Kwesi Fabin assured Ghanaians of their readiness to seal a first Under 17 World Cup since 1995.
“My boys and I have prepared very well. And we believe that all things being equal, we will make Ghanaians proud come October 28, 2017”
Ghana’s U17 male football team will play their first group A game against Colombia this Friday, October 6 before taking on USA and hosts India.
