Bole: Aggrieved NPP Executives Chase DCE

Aggrieved members of the governing New Patriotic Party are up in arms against the Bole District Chief Executive, Veronica Alele Heming. They accuse her of being incompetent and stalling the development of the area.

The NPP youth led by some constituency executives on Tuesday embarked on a peaceful demonstration demanding her immediate dismissal by President Akufo Addo.

The about 50 protestors carried placards with several messages some of which read;….”Alele has no leadership skills”-she is collapsing the Bole District Assembly”, “Alele does not care about Bole Development”.

The DCE has a long standing dispute with some constituency executives since her nomination. In September 2017, it was reported that a confrontation between the DCE for Bole, Madam Alele Veronica Heming and the 1st Vice Chairman of NPP Mr Abudu Orlando at the DCE’s office nearly engaged in fisticuffs.

That meeting as at attempt to resolve an impasse over the school feeding programme.

In November last year, another dispute between the DCE, Madam Veronica Alele Heming and the NPP Bole Bamboi executives was recorded after they accused her of victimizing them and bragging of how untouchable she is.

News went viral on social media when she allegedly bragged openly about her close ties with the family of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo especially, Gabby Asare-Otchere Darko for which reason a petition for her removal from office will be ignored.
It is yet to be established if the fresh agitations are born out of the long standing dispute. Attempts to reach the Madam Veronica Alele Heming for her response proved futile.
