Undefeated Ghanaian boxer, Duke Micah’s bantamweight bout against Mexico’s Mario Diaz this Thursday has been called-off.
According to the organizers, Real Deal Sports & Entertainment, an overwhelming and unresolved logistical issues led to the decision to cancel out the event in Louisville, USA.
Former world champion Evander Holyfield’s boxing promotions Real Deal Sports and Entertainment released a statement today.
Chief Operating Office of Real Deal Sports and Entertainment said: “Real Deal Sports and Entertainment, has cancelled the Thursday, September 28 scheduled event at the Crowne Plaza Louisville Airport Hotel Expo Center.
“Due to some overwhelming and unresolved logistical issues we have regretfully decided to cancel our event in Louisville next Thursday, September 28.’’
Micah currently holds both the WBC International and the WBO African Bantamweight titles, and is ranked in the top 15 in two organizations.
