Buhari Hails Akufo-Addo For Corruption Fighting Steps

Nigeria’s President, H.E Muhammadu Buhari, has applauded the president of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo for his bold steps to fight the “endemic corruption” in the country.

Addressing the nation with a solidarity message at the Black Star Square in Accra to commemorate Ghana’s 61st Independence Day celebration, the president also commended parliament for passing the Special prosecutor bill into law to fight the canker of corruption in Ghana as a way to develop Ghana.

Mr Buhari also promised to collaborate with Ghana to fight corruption as a way to “eradicate poverty” and develop in democracy”.

He also promised to work to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries that share the same culture and “common colonial experience.”
