AIDS Patients Disappointed In Government Importing Drugs Made Locally

The Network of Persons Living with HIV/AIDs in Ghana has expressed disappointment in government’s reluctance to contract a local pharmaceutical company to produce their Anti-Retro Viral Drugs at an affordable cost.

According to them, authorities fall on the DANADA Pharmaceutical Company for supplies whenever there is shortage but are rather interested in importing the drugs at large scale.

Greater Accra regional Chairman of the Association, Raymond Ahorlu spoke to XYZ News after he featuring on Radio XYZ’s music programme, COCKTAIL, with Felix Vander-Pallen.
