Attack On Tamale Bus Terminal By Military Officers, 1 Hospitalized

One Taxi Driver whose full identity is not known, is said to be battling for his life at the Tamale Teaching Hospital with several others severely wounded following an alleged unprovoked invasion of the Tamale /Savelugu bound Bus Terminal popularly known as “bus stop” by some 9 Uniform Military Officers from Bawa Barracks who allegedly assaulted Taxi Drivers thereby creating tension in Town.

At the time our news Team arrived at the scene, the said driver was battling for his life at the Hospital, and had already been rushed out leaving behind those who equally sustained deep wounds on the backs as a result of the military belts and cudgels the soldiers used on them.

XYZ news can confirm that, the attack which occurred in the later part of yesterday, was triggered by the Taxi fare to Bawa Barracks which the said Nine Uniform Military Officers wanted to dictate but Taxi Drivers declined resulting the misunderstanding and the attacks.
