GJA Set For Elections Tomorrow

All is set for the election of new national and regional executives of the Ghana Journalists Association tomorrow.

The nationwide polls, according to the GJA Elections Committee, will start at 8am and close at 4pm.

A press release signed by the Chairman of the Committee, Ben Batabe Assorow says members in good standing who will not be available to cast their votes can assign someone who is a member of GJA and in good standing to vote on his or her behalf.

Eligible voters are to produce a GJA identification card or any National Identification Card as proof.

The two main contenders in what appears to be one of the keenly contested GJA elections are Affail Monney who is seeking re-election and Llyod Evans, a veteran journalist and respected business news editor.
