Popular Ghanaian gospel artiste, Obaapa Christy is out with six (6) spirit-filled songs, ahead of her upcoming album.
The songs which remind listeners of the songs Obaapa did in her blossoming days, where she sang with so much energy to the satisfaction of Christians who love danceable songs.
Three of the tracks which are out for promotion are ‘W’asue me’, ‘Kae me,’ and ‘W’agye me'(He’s saved me) which is the title of the album expected to be launched in 2019.
The others that are not ready for airplay immediately are ‘Ma enye yie’, ‘I am Coming Out’, ‘Amen’, and ‘Aseda Nwom’.
Speaking to Agyemang Prempeh (Agyemang Nie), host of Power Entertainment on Power 97.9FM on Saturday, Obaapa Christy stated that the title of the album encapsulates her life story from her teens to her present life, where she has become a preacher.
“I have gone through a lot in life,” she disclosed while indicating that her songs are revealed to her divinely.
“I don’t compose songs on my own,” she said when asked how she did such inspiring songs.
“God reveals them to me. They come just like that and I put them together,” added the Hyebre sesafo hit maker.
