The Asunafo South District Chief Executive, Osei Bonsu is back at post after he was attacked by 50 physically built men at his office in the full glare of deputy Local government Minister, Collins Ntim yesterday.
The machomen wielding knives and other offensive implements had wanted to drag him out of his office for failing to sack some known NDC activists still employed under the School Feeding program, the Youth Enterprise Authority and other government agencies.
None of the suspects has been arrested and though many suspect who they are likely to be, the Asunafo South DCE told XYZ News the Police must be allowed to do its investigations.
Mr Osei Bonsu says details of the Security Council meeting held after the incident will be presented to the Brong Ahafo regional Minister, Kwaku Asuma Kyeremeh for advice.
