Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco was doubtful for Tuesday’s match against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League semifinals but Atletico’s coach Diego Simeone finally decided to include him on the list.
Atletico’s squad list:
Goalkeepers: Moya, Oblak.
Defenders: Godin, Filipe Luis, Savic, Lucas, Alberto Rodriguez.
Midfielders: Tiago, Koke, Saul, Carrasco, Gabi, Thomas, Gaitan.
Attackers: Griezmann, Gameiro, Fernando Torres, Correa.
Bad news for Real Madrid, as Carrasco is always a very dangerous player. In fact, he scored Atletico’s equalizer in the 2016 Champions League Final, so Dani Carvajal
will need to be careful with the Belgian winger if Simeone finally makes room for him in the starting XI.
Atletico will surely try to score at the Bernabeu as that would make their job much easier for next week’s game at the Vicente Calderon. Real Madrid can’t keep a clean sheet this season and that’s precisely why Zidane’s men could use a good game by the defensive line.
