Gospel musician Joyce Blessing has donated to the Akropong School for the Blind in the Eastern region, as part of her birthday celebration on Tuesday, May 15 2018.
Items donated to the school were bags of rice, packs of assorted drinks, washing soaps, detergents and an undisclosed amount.
The donation, initially, was to be led by her managers, Zylofon Media, but she was allegedly deserted, leaving her with a colleague gospel musicians, Superintendent (SP) Kofi Sarpong and veteran musician Blind Messiah, who was invited to help give back to his former school.
SP Kofi Sarpong and the two performed in the school to cheer the students up.
Though disappointed in her label, Zylofon Media, for not partaking in the event, Joyce Blessing was happy the event was successful.
Her foundation, the Joyce Blessing Help Me Grow Foundation was launched to help the needy, and give back to the society.
Joyce said she spotted some of the students who are talented in singing, and promised to feature some in her future albums.
The authorities of the school were full of joy for the kind gesture the ‘ I swerve you’ songstress had exhibited.
