Despite the Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annor Dompreh pledging his side is ready to fiercely match the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Caucus, the Majority has not shown up at the law-making chamber as Parliament ends the 2022 budget debate today.
XYZ News Princess Arita Anim reports that although the Minority side had turned up in their numbers to participate in the debate as of the time Parliament commences business.
MP for Ningo Prampram who spoke to the press bemoaned the action of the majority.
“Let Ghanaians see what is going on in the chamber that every minority MP is sitting in his chair however there’s not even a mouse from the NPP side,” George told journalists.
“We demand seriousness because running a business.. the governance of a country like demands seriousness and we demand seriousness from the majority we need to do the budget debate go into estimate and appropriation before parliament rises on the 17th of this month,” he added.
