Six persons have died in a head-on collision on the Nkurakan- Adukrom highway in the Eastern Region.
The accident happened on Monday afternoon near at Bepoase on the Asenema road in the Okere District.
Four persons died on the spot when a Toyota Hiace carrying traders and goods collided with Hyundai H-100 with registration number GX 2968-18.
2 others who were rescued by the Ghana National Fire Service were pronounced dead when they were sent to the Tetteh Quarshie Hospital at Akropong.
The Toyota Hiace was heading towards Adukrom while the Hyundai truck was from the opposite direction.
Dozens were injured and are now responding to treatment.
