President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has arrived in London ahead of the 25th Commonwealth heads of government Meeting which begins today, April 16,2018.

A statement issued by the Communications Directorate of the Jubilee House says President Akufo Addo will hold meetings with the British Foreign Secretary, Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson; leader of the Labour party and leader of the opposition, Jeremy Corbyn; Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan; and the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William on the sidelines of the event which ends on Friday April 20.

While in the UK, the President will deliver a keynote address at the UK chamber of Commerce Investment Summit; speak at the malaria Summit, hosted by Bill Gates; attend the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council Business Forum.

The statement said on Saturday April 21st, President Akufo Addo will address the London school of Economics Africa Summit, on the theme “Africa at work, educated, employed and empowered”

He returns home on Sunday April 22.
