Attram De Visser books place in MTN FA Cup round 16 after gunning down Okwahu UTD

Attram De Visser Soccer Academy, on Sunday June 20, 2021 beat the pride of Okwahu, Okwahu United 0-3 on penalties at Ofori Park, at Yayaaso in New Abirem District in the Eastern Region.
The away side Attram De Visser, took the lead in the 34th minutes of the match when central defender Jelilu Yakubu fired home a long-range drive to beat Okwahu goalie.
Okwahu United came into the game strongly with the home fans cheering them on but failed to score the equalizing goal due to the tactics deployed by head coach Godwin Attram, which ended the first department 0-1 for Attravisser.
The match resumed from resets with the home team supporters chanting, singing and edging their boys on to maintain that traditional pride they always accorded with but Attram De Visser defenders were resolute to keep them at bay from scoring.
Attram Visser, catch the anxious Okwahu United on the break and opened their defense with split quick passes but attacker Joshua Anim failed to increase the tally.
The Asaase Aban supporters couldn’t control their frustration in the 70th minutes when they took their anger to assistant line one by throwing stones and objects at him comparing center referee James Taylor, from Takoradi to halt the game for close to five minutes.
The manager of Attram De Visser Soccer Academy, introduced some fresh legs which sow Okwahu United found wanting but again Anim Joshua missed the empty Pole which dropped the jaw of everyone at the stadium.
Okwahu United got the equalizer in the 88th minutes to send the match to a penalty shoot-out.
The National U17 goalkeeper for Ghana, Abdul Manaf Ibrahim, who was in the post for Attram De Visser saved the first kick.
Kingsley Sakyi scored a fantastic goal from the spot, making it 0-1. The second taker for Okwahu United hit the crossbar with Nathaniel Lamptey scoring second for the away team.
Manaf Ibrahim was at his first again best when he had to stretch to his elastic limit to save the second penalty of the day leaving the score at 0-2.
Skipper Emmanuel Cudloe sent the goalkeeper to the wrong side for the third goal of the day leaving the referee no option to end the proceeding.
Attram De Visser Soccer Academy has now progressed to the stage of the competition.
