Awutu Senya West MP calls on Traditional leaders

The Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West Constituency Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui over the weekend paid a courtesy call on the paramount chief of Senya Beraku, Ampabo Nenyi Kweku Issiw VI to express her gratitude for their support and prayers.

She also met with sub-chiefs at Senya and Queen Mothers on separate sessions for hearty discussions on developmental issues.

Asafo groups dressed in traditional regalia majestically ushered MP into the palace singing amidst chanting of war songs and appellations.

Tetteh-Agbotui recounted some of her achievements in Senya so far, including the presentation of scholarships to 30 tertiary students, free eye screening and cataract surgeries for some residents, and the planting of over 200 coconut seedlings at the beach at Odomesah Nkwanta, and Kyenkyeso.

She also briefed Nananom on the state of the Senya market, Senya projects under CODA, the landing beach project and her vision to develop heritage and cultural tourism for Senya Bereku.

Ampabo Nenyi Kweku Issiw VI commended the MP for her humility and added that if such character is maintained for more than one term Awutu Senya West constituency will experience unprecedented development.

Nananom prayed and supplicated for ancestral protection and guidance for their daughter and assured her of their unflinching support as traditional leaders.

Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui was led by the Constituency Chairman Daniel Ako and Vice SB Okine, Ambassador Nana Larbie, and a host of the constituency and branch executives.
