Power sports can confidently announce that Asante Kotoko deputy captain, Emmanuel Gyamfi will be qualified to play for the Kum Apem boys in the super clash on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Kotoko assistant captain was charged by the disciplinary committee of the Football Association for an off-the ball incident, where the Kotoko speedster was seen stamping on the foot of Inter Allie’s Andy Okpe in the Ghana Premier League day 29 game at the doomsday arena at Dawu.
However, the information reaching Power Sports has it Gyamfi in his defense filled at the DC has pleaded innocent for the offense.
The Disciplinary Committee (DC) of the Football Association will however be sitting on the counts against Gyamfi on Tuesday, 29th June for a decision to be made, which means the influential team captain in the absence of Felix Annan will be available for selection on Sunday.
