England and Arsenal wonder kid Bukayo Saka has penned down a heartfelt message to his fans and loved ones for the support shown him after he was racially abused.
He was slammed for missing a penalty in England’s match against Italy in the Euro 2020 finals.
Saka missed penalty alongside his playmates Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford in the Euros finals, they were racially abused online and physically.
After all these days, Rashford and Sancho have already written to their fans and apologized for the miss.
Saka has also made a public apology and has thanked everyone for their support in this difficult time.
He tweeted: “For those who campaigned on my behalf and sent me heartfelt letters, wished me and my family well – I’m so thankful”
“To the social media platforms Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, I don’t want any child or adult to receive hateful and hurtful messages that me, Marcus and Jadon have received this week”.
