CPP will win power in 2024 – Jantuah

General Secretary of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Nana Yaa Akyimpim Jantuah has said the party will win the 2024 elections.

Madam Jantuah said the CPP will shock Ghanaians in the next elections, saying the ideologies of their founder, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, are alive and critical for Ghana’s development.

Speaking on XYZ Tonight with Prince Minkah, the former PRO for Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) said the new leadership of the CPP will go back to its original blueprint of grassroots organisation to make the party attractive.

Asked that Ghanaians do not see the CPP to be a serious party aside the NPP and NDC, she said, “We are very relevant. The fact is that people cite these two parties (NPP and NDC) but in conversations elsewhere, they will tell you that the CPP is very relevant.”

To build a more formidable party, Nana Yaa Jantuah said the CPP will send its message to the people and prove to the people it is a better side that has what it takes to solve Ghana’s numerous challenges.

“The CPP needs to come and build and become a better force. Nothing is pulling us back. Every party needs to reorganize,” she added.

Although she said there are forces to suppress the party, they are fighting the forces by “organizing” the party ahead of the next elections.

“The CPP will never die, Kwame Nkrumah will never die,” Nana Jantuah assured of rebuilding the party as she appealed to people who have love for CPP not to sit on the fence but “come home” to help make the party a better side.
