The Tafo Pankrono branch of the NPP is to convey a crisis meeting on Wednesday, October 10 to ascertain what led to a youth vigilante group near attack on the MP for the area, Anthony Akoto Osei during a meeting.
Some members of the Delta Force over the weekend stormed a meeting of executives of the party, where the MP was present, broke tables and chairs in protest against what they describe as failed promises to secure them jobs when the NPP came to power.
Speaking on “Ghana Te Sen” on Tuesday, Tafo Pankrono NPP Chairman, Kwame Donkoh said the meeting has become imperative because they suspect a hidden agenda to the attack.
According to him, the MP did not make such promises of securing them jobs when the NPP comes into power hence the need to probe further what led to the attack.
The constituency Chairman also confirmed some members of the vigilante group have been picked up by the police for further investigations
