Don’t eat these food raw, it will kill you

Some foods are unhealthy, particularly when eaten raw. They typically have bad body characteristics and can thus cause food toxicity or worse… We have also listed five foods you should never eat raw. Take a look at the list here:

POTATO

The potato contains solanine and chaconne, molecules that allow it to defend itself against parasites. However, they are bad for women and men because they cause headaches, vomiting, diarrhea, and fever. So it is better to eat cooked potatoes. It’s definitely better!

EGGPLANT

It also contains solanine, a toxic molecule that can have serious consequences if it is ingested in too large a quantity. Once again, therefore, avoid eating raw eggplants.

FISH

Everyone knows you have to be careful with raw fish. Even if it is appreciated in tartare, ceviche, or even in sushi, we must be wary of this raw food. Indeed, fish can be contaminated by parasites such as anisakids.

These are worms found in the digestive tract, which infiltrate the muscles and therefore end up in the flesh that you eat. Ingested by humans, these worms cause violent poisoning. A little tip to avoid this inconvenience: before eating raw fish, put it in the freezer for 24 hours.

MANIOC (CASSAVA)

Cassava is a root loved by adventurers and resembles potatoes. But, alongside the many vitamins, it contains, this food also harbors cyanogenic glycosides, the cyanide toxin, which can cause death. To be safe, it is best to cook the grated cassava in boiling water.

CHICKEN

Chicken can contain dangerous bacteria, like Salmonella, which causes intestinal illness in humans. Next to it, the chicken carcass contains campylobacter, which is transmitted through contact with raw food and cause food poisoning. Often they are mild, but sometimes they can get worse and have very serious consequences.

Make sure you follow this advice if you want to live a healthier life, and don’t forget to like and share with others so they can profit from it as well.
