Fire has gutted some parts of the Makola market, near the shopping complex in Accra.
The incident started in a cosmetic shop at the top floor of a three-srorey building.
The cause of the fire is not readily known.
An eyewitness told Kofi Oppong Asamoah on the Class Morning show on Monday, 5 July 2021 that Fire Service personnel visited the scene but have been unable to quench the fire even though about seven fire tenders were present.
