The CEO Of Media Excel Production, Kwesi Ernest, has bashed the head of Artist Management at Zylofon Media, Willi Roy, for his Facebook comments regarding the controversies surrounding Dance hall artiste Livingstone Etse Satekla ( Stonebwoy) and the company.
He has called for the head of the entertainer who has decades of experience in Showbiz for his “reckless” statements on social media.
Willi Roy’s comments have received tonnes of criticisms on social media
Kwesi Ernest’s comments follow a scuffle between Stonebwoy and some officers of Zylofon Music, when they confronted the Dance hall artiste at Champs Bar last Saturday to seize a Benz purported to have been given to him by the company.
The officers, according to reports were led by Lawrence Nana Asiamah also known as Bulldog who is the Artiste and Repertoire Manager for Zylofon Music.
Stonebwoy is said to have fired gun shots at the venue, giving room for speculations that he is severing ties with the Zylofon Music brand.
But Willi Roy, senior officer at Zylofon Music on Monday rather escalated the controversies when he took to Facebook to mock Stonebwoy following a suspected bad blood between the artiste and the Zylofon brand.

But speaking to Agyemang Prempeh on power 97.9FM, Kwesi Ernest condemned Willi Roy, who he described as “an oldman” who should have known better by calming tempers at the company rather than posting “reckless statements” on social media.
“I have never been disappointed in any senior management person in this showbiz business than the person of Willi Roy. Reading his own, this one of the most irresponsive statements that can come from any person who represents a Record Label in the name of being an AR.”
He said Willi Roy’s posts were childish and called on Sammy Baah, the head of Public Relations at Zylofon Media to call him to order.
“Was he given an employment letter? He should name one good thing that he has done for the record label when he joined Zylofon. He should prove to us what he has done to show that he’s worth his salary. Apart from taking breakfast every morning from the account of the company, he should tell us,” he fumed.
He said Willi Roy should be fired for his loose talk if Zylofon is serious about what they are doing.
“If I were the owner of Zylofon, I would fire him. . .I would personally write his resignation letter and sack him. . . he is not worth his salary at all. It’s very unfortunate,” the music promoter said.
