The Government of Ghana has setup a 5-member Interim Management Committee to steer the affairs of football in the country after an Accra High Court granted a 10-day injunction on all activities of the Ghana Football Association yesterday.
Dr Kofi Amoah (Chairman), Mr Cudjoe Fianoo(Secretary), Mr Abedi Pele, Rev. Osei Kofi and Ms Eva Okyere make up the Five-member committee.
Mr Dan Kwaku Yeboah will serve as the committee’s spokesperson.
The statement signed by Information Minister, Mustapha Hamid revealed the committee will oversee the administration of football and other related matters in the country.
The Government will engage with FIFA and CAF to discuss current developments in Ghanaian Football Administration and to chart the way forward.
