Ghana takes delivery of 350k vaccines from DRC

Ghana has taken delivery of 350,000 doses of AstraZenecca vaccines today to help in thefight against the coronavirus disease.

The consignment arrived at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) by Turkish Airlines on Friaday, may 7,2021.

The vaccines which forms part of  the1.3million vaccines UNICEF is re-directing from the Democratic republic of Congo to Ghana and few other African countries is to augment Ghana’s dpleting stock.

According to the Ghana Health Service (GHS), 849,527 vaccines have been administered as at Friday, April 30 with a total of 966,850 received under various partnerships.
