Gladson Awako is still Hearts Of Oak player – Peter Mahama

Hearts Of Oak NCC General Secretary Peter Mahama says Gladson Awako is still a player for Hearts Of Oak.
He explained to Power Sports, “I can tell Hearts Of Oak supporters, everybody should be rest assured that Awako is Hearts Of Oak player.”
“If we have any issues to talk about, then it should be his manager, Yusif Chibsah but not Great Olympics. The same Olympics said Goods sold are not refundable, so why are they saying that?”
He added: “ We have written to Awako to come and train with us but at the moment he hasn’t, if time is due and he isn’t with us we will take the necessary action.
When asked whether Hearts have regretted signing Awako, he said “There’s no player bigger than Hearts Of Oak, it’s only Hearts Of Oak that is above any player, No we have not regretted, one thing that we know is that, there is always a school of learning so for now, we are learning from our mistakes and challenges”
Great Olympics Chief Executive Officer Oluboi Commodore spoke about the transfer of Gladson Awako to Hearts Of Oak earlier and claimed that the club had an agreement with the Phobians to sign the player by paying the transfer fee in two installments.
The first installment was to be paid 13th September and the second installment to be paid on October 2.
After Hearts of Oak paying 50 percent of the first installment, they have failed to pay the second installment which expired on October 2. Claiming that because of the agreement, Gladson Awako should return to Accra Great Olympics.
