Celebrated radio and TV personality, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has warned politicians that he is about to descend on them more than ever if they misbehave.
The broadcast Journalist recently joined the XYZ Broadcasting Limitedto host one of its flagship programmes on TV– Abranaaso.
He says as he begins his work, he will not spare any politician who will take the tax-paying suffering Ghanaian for granted.
The award winning, vociferous political show host indicated that, Ghanaian Politicians “are exhibiting the same greedy traits since independence which is worsening the hardship among Ghanaians.
Although he has an affinity with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Afrifa-Mensah who is affectionately called ‘Youth President’ said he is not in to do anyone’s bidding.
“Whether you’re NDC or NPP, I’m not sparing you if you decide to take the people for granted,” he pledged. “I am here because of the suffering Ghanaians and give them a voice.”
He told Myxyzonline.com that President Akufo-Addo has woefully failed to deliver on his promises to Ghanaians.
He cited the high cost of living and juxtaposed it with the manifesto of the NPP before they assumed power in 2017, saying “we like to celebrate mediocrity in this country.”
“The Politician is not more sensible than anybody in this country.Bad people created monster in Nkrumah and the services of our forebears are better as compared to what we have now,” he added.
Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah will bring to viewers of TV XYZ a blend of opinion journalism and the analysis of socioeconomic issues that directly affect the ordinary Ghanaian each day.
