The Special Prosecutor nominee, Mr Kissi Agyebeng, has revealed he will discharge his duties accordingly but not by the dictates of his predecessor, Martin Amidu.
Agyebeng made this known during his vetting at Parliament on Thursday.
“I will wear my own shoes, not Amidu’s,” he disclosed to the Appointment Committee.
The seasoned lawyer also noted that there is no pressure on him to walk in the shoes of anyone.
Agyebeng further explained that in the execution of his work, he will not to rely on anyone’s directives to fight corruption which has become a canker in the body politics of the country.
