Samuel Takyi has made a bold statement to switch from Amateur boxing to Professional boxing, having excelled at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Ghana’s latest Olympic Bronze medalist made this statement on X-Sports Profile on TV XYZ Friday night.
After battling his way through the Olympics, facing competitive opponents, and winning a bronze medal, he said he has gained enough experience to compete professionally.
While talking about his last bout with United State’s Duke Ragan, Takyi said “ Although I lost, it was by the help of the referee that’s why Ragan won, I will meet him again and beat him, but professionally.”
He told host Nana Prempeh (British Man) that he has now set his eyes on a World title and would work toward that in the shortest possible time.
