Electronics retail giant, KAB-FAM Ghana Limited, says it is sponsoring the Ghana Music Awards-UK to help promote Ghanaian culture in the UK and the world at large.
This was disclosed by the Brand Ambassador for KAB-FAM and actor Mickey Osei Berko, also known as Master Richard at the launch of this year’s edition of the award scheme.
This year marks the 5th edition of the awards scheme and it will be held in the UK on 9th October, 2021.
The award scheme is expected to attract a large number of Ghanaian music stakeholders which include artistes and their managers as well as international artistes from some selected countries in Africa, Europe and United States of America.
The Ghana Music Awards UK is an Awards programme that provides the platform to artistes to showcase their Dynamism, Creativity and vibrant Ghanaian Culture through a night of Arts and Entertainment.
The Awards Scheme also recognises and celebrates the achievements of Ghanaian Artistes.
According to organizers, even though the awards is a UK-based event, there is the need to kick start the buzz from home to enable Ghanaians have a feel of it
