Host of Xtrends on Tv XYZ Afia Owusu Coke, has lamented about the fact that celebrated producer Kaywah is not able to maintain his artistes.
According to Miss Afia, no artiste has stayed with the record label for more than 5 years.
“Kaywah is a very fine producer and a giant in the creative space, but it’s overwhelming how all his artistes keep leaving his record”, she said.
“What could he be possibly not doing right, let’s look at the likes of Yaw Berks, Kurl songs and Mr Drew. Let’s hope Lasmid changes the narrative”, she added
Recently Mr Drew disclosed that his contract with Highly Spiritual Music has ended, hence he’s without a record label at the moment.
In 2019, Ghanaian artiste, Kurl Songx says he has no intentions of returning to Highly Spiritual Music, the record label he was initially signed to.
The ‘Jennifer Lomotey’ hitmaker exited Highly Spiritual after he accused management of slowing his music career down and also accused his former managers, Mr. Drew and Krymi of song theft.
