Kuami Eugene, Eno, Amerado, others feature in FDA’s drug abuse campaign song

Highlife act Kuami Eugene has featured in a music video by the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) aimed at sensitizing Ghanaians against the canker of substance abuse in the country.

The video which was released on Monday, 20th December 2021 also features Eno Barony, Article Wan, Yaaya, Bogo Blay, and Amerado who sang about the dangers of drug abuse.

In a statement, the FDA announced that the release of the music video is an aspect of its partnership with the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) to “mitigate the canker of substance abuse predominantly among the youth in Ghana.”

The music video which is staged in a mixed urban setting and depicts scenes of various substance misuse is to commence FDA’s comprehensive strategy to campaign against drug abuse in the country which includes the usage of tobacco and the recreational use of tramadol.
