MCE for Bibiani & driver die in a car crash

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai, Alfred Amoah and his driver died Tuesday night after a car crash.

The fatal accident occurred when the MCE was travelling to Accra.

The crash involved three vehicles, a fuel tanker with registration number GN- 8549-X, a trailer, AS- 4229- X and the DCE’s official vehicle, a Nissan Patrol with registration number GN-2060-18 about 6:30 PM Tuesday at Akim Fisha.

The DCE and his driver suffered severe head injuries, according to sources, and died on the spot.

Police in the Eastern Region have commenced investigations into the car crash.

Meanwhile Vice President Dr Mahamadu Bawumia has consoled the family of the deceased.

He said the two were committed to the agenda of the government and the NPP.
