Mills’ family to drag Koku Anyidoho to court over Atta Mills Institute

The Family of the late President, Prof. John Evans Atta Mills will in the coming days be in the courts to get legal backing to stop the Atta Mills Institute from operating.

The institute, which was set up by former Director of Communications at the Presidency, Koku Anyidoho, has been termed by the family as unauthorised and unsanctioned.

The threat was made known by the late president’s brother and leader of the family, Dr Cadman Mills, at a commemorative lecture in honour of the late president at the Accra International Conference Centre.

This is after President Akufo-Addo officially opened the renovated Asomdwoe Park, the resting place of Prof Mills, to mark the tenth anniversary of the passing of the third President of the Fourth Republic.

But Dr Cadman Mills in his speech stated that the refurbishment to “to promote themselves; to promote the institute and to promote their paymasters.”

Top him, that was not what the late president stood for and for that matter, Koku Anyidoho, who has verbally attacked some family members of Prof. Mills recently for failing to follow him, must face the court.
