Ghana Senior National team head coach, Milovan Rajevac has named his 30 man squad for the Africa Cup Of Nations to be staged in Cameroon, January 9th.
Coach Milovan handed call up to four debutants namely, Salis Abdul Samed who plays for French Ligue 1 side Clermont Foot, Maxwell Abbey Quaye from Accra Great Olympics, David Abagna from Real Tamale United & Khlaid Abdul Mumin of Vitoria de Guimaraes
The local based players are set to leave Ghana for Doha on 22nd December, 2021, the foreign based players will also join them in camp starting from 24th December, 2021.
The Black Stars will play three friendly matches to prepare for the tournament, the first with a club in Qatar on December 28th, 2021, the second with either Egypt or Sudan on January 1st,2022 & the final friendly with reigning Africa Champions, Algeria on January 5th, 2022.
The Black Stars will leave Doha for Yaoundé on Friday, January 7, 2022 to take on Morocco on 10th January, 2022 & the rest of Africa at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Ghana is set to submit a final 28 Man Squad for the Afcon on December 30th, 2021.
