The MP’s gesture was also to encourage them to put more efforts in order to develop their full potentials through sports .

“I am here today to support you morally and inspire you to work hard because sports today is a very lucrative venture that need to be exploited. As a young MP, I will do everything possible within my capacity to support young talents,” he assured the young chaps.

“We all understand how difficult it is now to secure a job in both the public and private sector. Sports development is another area that we must give attention to as a tool for communal development,” he urged.

As the national team, Black Stars prepare for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the MP encouraged the players to aim high and work hard to earn them a call up at the national level.

“Very soon we all will be watching the Black Stars in the next World Cup in Qatar, and I want you to see yourselves representing Ghana at that level in the future,” Amankwah said.

Both teams expressed appreciation to the MP and urged him to do more as they were prepared to make Amenfi East proud in the upcoming season.
