SES HD PLUS Ghana, the country’s premium high-definition satellite broadcast service provider has announced that it has integrated its TV broadcast service into selected Samsung TVs using NAGRA’s TVkey Cloud technology.
Operated by My HD PLUS APP, the service offers users direct access to the HD+ Service straight out of the box as part of a new TV installation, or through the existing app store on compatible TVs.
My HD PLUS app also offers the FeeliFeeli Experience with over 100 channels in SD with superior features such as a 7-day electronic programming guide, Parental Access Control, and Logical Channel Numbering system which makes it easier to locate channels since all channels have been assigned a permanent number and been arranged according to genres.

Apart from offering over 100 FTA channels in standard definition, SES HD PLUS Ghana is collaborating with Adom TV, Joy Prime, GTV, UTV, Joy News, GhOne, Metro TV, TVXYZ, Citi TV, Angel TV and OneHD to deliver their content in high-definition quality.
The cloud-based direct-to-TV security solution brings encrypted TV services directly to internet-connected smart TVs too.
There are four subscription packages available: GHS7 for a week, GHS25 for a month, GHS60 for three months and an annual package that costs GHS210.
According to General Manager of SES HD PLUS, Theodore Asampong, the launch of the ‘My HD PLUS App’ on Samsung’s TVs will be the first on the African continent.

Meanwhile, Samsung says it is hopeful the deal will increase its sales on the market.
