NDC begin 30th anniversary celebration

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) begins its 20th anniversary celebration tomorrow.

The timing coincides with the commemoration of the June 4 Celebration, which is significant in the history of the party, especially because of its founder, late Jerry John Rawlings.

According to the Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the NDC, the anniversary will be preceded by the 43rd anniversary of the June 4 Uprising.

This involves a clean-up exercise across all regions and constituencies on Saturday, June 4.

The theme of the 30th anniversary is: ‘NDC @ 30 Unity. stability. Development’.

The party has designated June 8, 2022 as the National Recognition Day which shall be observed in the Nkwanta South Constituency in the Oti Region.

The 30th anniversary will be climaxed with a symposium in Accra at the GNAT Hall.

All regions and constituencies have been urged to ensure that programmes outlined are religiously followed and executed.
