NDC extends deadline for Constituency nominations forms

The NDC has extended the deadline for the picking of nomination forms for the upcoming Constituency elections Saturday, September 24, 2022.

A brief statement signed by General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia said the decision by the party’s Functional Executive Committee (FEC) followed widespread appeal and concerns about difficulties in downloading the forms online.

“These concerns have centered around network and other challenges relative to the download of forms. In view of this, FEC has effective today, extended the deadline for picking of nomination forms by an additional two days, to end on Saturday, 24th September, 2022.

All other processes on the approved internal elections timetable of the party remains unchanged.”

The party has since instructed all Constituency Secretariates to take note and comply accordingly.

The NDC has fixed December 17, 2022 for the election of its national executives. The party will hold its Constituency elections on the 22nd and 23rd of October and proceed to elect regional executives on November 12 and 13.
