The 2020 flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has said the NDC is coming back in 2024 strongly.
According to him, so many lessons have been learnt in the past which has strengthened them as a party to strike back hard in the next elections.
Speaking at a gathering at Goaso the Ahafo regional capital as part of his ‘thank-you tour’, Mr. Mahama refuted claims of violence in the country’s next elections, saying “if there will be violence in this country, it would not come from the NDC.”
He said the party has reenergized and re-strategized for power and Ghanaians should watch out for them.
Mr. Mahama also assured the people of Ahafo of his commitment to developing the region when the NDC returns to power.
He noted that many infrastructural projects in the Ahafo region were from the NDC governments which he said is an indication that they will do more for them.
Mr. Mahama further recounted the construction of Nursing Training Colleges, E-blocks, electricity extension and many infrastructural projects by the NDC and promised that the next NDC government will continue to develop the region when Ghanaians vote them to power.
