The presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is grateful to the electorate who have voted to make it possible for the party to obtain the majority of the seats in the next parliament of the country.
It follows the opposition party’s conviction that it will no longer be in the minority in the next legislature per its own analysis of the results of the just-ended 2020 polls.
To support the party’s belief, John Mahama has taken to social media to congratulate the party and appreciate the many voters whose support enabled the NDC to achieve this feat adding that the effort is a sign of change.
“Thank you for voting for change and giving the NDC a working majority in the next Parliament. Thank you, Ghana.” he tweeted.
