Hearts of Oak National Chapters Committee chairman Elvis Herman Hesse has revealed that Vincent Sowah Odotei reported him to the polices for inciting fans against the former.
Hearts of Oak NCC press conference which was slated to take place on Monday at Accra Sports stadium was cancelled because the NCC chairman Elvis Herman Hesse Jnr. was invited by the police to write his statement at the Ministry Police station.
Vincent Sowah Odotei told the media on Tuesday that he did not report Elvis Hesse to the police but rather it was an internal investigation the police conducted before inviting him and he doesn’t know anything about Hesse’s invite by the Police.
But at the NCC press conference which was rescheduled to Thursday 20th October 2022, Elvis Hesse clarified that police told him of who reported him on the said date.
“The police told me that Mr. Odotei reported me to them, that I incited the supporters against him on Sunday,” Hesse said.
In a viral video emerged on Sunday during Hearts of Oak verse Real Bamako where Vincent Sowah Odotei and Elvis Herman Hesse Jnr were seen involving in heated arguments in the VVIP stand.
After the game some fans caused damages to Vincent Sowah Odotei’s car and most of the fans held Vincent Sowah Odotei and Alhaji Akambi hostage venting out their displeasure on management of the club.
Hearts of Oak won 1-0 against Real Bamako but the win was not enough to sail them through to the next phase of the competition, bowing out on a 3-1 aggregate in favour of Real Bamako.
