Award-winning Ghanaian Dancehall artist, Epixode has revealed that Ghanaians do not like music that talk about the ills of the society.
The musician born Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo observed people don’t listen to such songs that are about social issues hence people who are bent on doing songs of that nature are not easily seen.
The artiste made this known in an interview with JKD on X Zone on TVXYZ.
According to Epixode it’s hard for people to listen to such song in this space.
“It’s hard in this space…. I think we are going from where people just used to listen to beats and dance to paying attention to lyrics that is why when you drop a song and there’s a line that you took from somebody’s song, somebody can come on twitter and say eei eei you steal am,” he said.
He continued, “You know few years ago, it wasn’t like that, now you have people who want to attend your concert because of the content”
