The Ashanti Regional Police Command has commenced investigations into the circumstances that led to a violent clash between civilians and security personnel at Ejura today.
The protest which led to the killing of at least w persons was to seek justice for a murdered member of the community, Ibrahim Mohammed (Kaaka) who was attacked by unknown assailants last Saturday.
In a statement signed by the Ashanti Regional Police PRO, ASP Goodwin Ahianyo, the situation has been calmed as investigations are ongoing.
