(((BREAKING NEWS))) Exposed! See the Letter that has exposed Martin Amidu

Some damning evidence has been given hours after the notorious press release of the former Special Prosecutor, Martin A.B.K Amidu, which faults him with dishonesty.

On the third page of his four-page letter of resignation to the President, Martin Amidu noted that his emoluments and other terms of service had never been met as decided in the entirety of his two years and several months working for the State.

Under the microscopic study of Kwaku Annan, host of the Seat Show on NET2 Television, this matter was brought forward. On 16 February 2019, he pooled a document in which the Special Prosecutor ordered the Secretary to the Special Prosecutor’s Office to make available to his person a sum of Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC10,000.00) and a Five Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC5,000.00) as monthly operating allowances to his Deputy.

The fact that the time of the letter was so instructive and full of personal interest, a similar case of conflict of interest, in the management of public resources, was more troubling, as Mr. Annan stressed.

These details, as established by Mr. Annan, pose some serious questions about the charges levied on the President by Martin Amidu, as failing to honor the payment of the benefits entitled to him and the deputy.

Interestingly, the Chairman of the Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Committee, Ben Abdallah Banda on Citi FM’s Eyewitness News reported that full disclosure was made in respect of the payment of these benefits and emoluments to the Special Prosecutor.

According to his account, the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) was not included as required in the Ghana Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS) and as such, should be incorporated into the Office for the processing of any payment and procurement.

The question then is, why did Martin Amidu not talk about the advantages he has enjoyed since February 2019? Could he, by painting a bleak image of the Akufo-Addo administration, be so dishonest? Or is he playing with a political agenda, especially when his letter’s content talks so badly about the President? a
