Posters of William Atamudzi, the Eastern Regional Vice Chairman of the NDC, on Sunday afternoon took over a re-organisation event organised by the party in the Abirem Constituency in the Eastern Region.
The programme which took place at Akyem Afosu was to bring together the youth of the party to interact with their party leaders in the region.
The programme dubbed ‘Mi Casa Su Casa‘, a Spanish phrase that means “my home is your home” was centered on gingering the party’s base in the Eastern Region where the NDC is yet to organise its branch elections.
Although the party is yet to open nomination for constituency and regional positions, Mr Atamudzi’s T-shirts and posters were seen all over the Afosu and its environs.
Some of the young men and women who called themselves Friends of Atamudzi were seen chanting the name of the first vice chairman of the party in the region.
One of them, said Atamudzi has worked hard for the party and deserves to lead the NDC in the Eastern Region.
“He was seen everywhere in the region in 2020 working with the grass roots and we want him to come and lead us,” another lady, Kekeli said in an interview.
Recently, Mr. William Atamudzi was honoured by his party for his efforts towards the congress in the in the 2020 elections.
The leading party member in the region was praised for being visible in most of the party activities in the region most of whom he initiated in the run to the polls.
The citation presented to him by the Lower west Akim Communications Bureau after a Workshop for NDC Communicators had the inscription “ in grateful recognition for your enduring commitment and exceptional contributions to the Party’s development and success.”
