Residents In Ashanti Region Are Complying With Covid Protocols …. Asokwa Police Commander

The Divisional Police Commander for Asokwa Divisional Police Station in the Ashanti Region, Chief Supreintendent Cosmos Afinah Damoah has commended the people in the Region for adhering to the COVID-19 protocols.
According to Chief Supt Damoah, the compliance to the protocols have necessitated few caution and arrest for violating the laws.

“Whenever we go out and see persons without mask on, We compell them to buy one and wear the nose mask or they face the consequences” he stressed during an interview with Power Fm’s Mary Odura Ahenkorah as part of disinfection exercise at various Police stations in Region.

He elaborated on the fact that they are enforcing the laws in all the various police stations to make sure that no one falls victim.

“It is very important hence it is going to help curb this virus since we cannot cure it however; we are all observant” he explained.

The General Manager for Zoomlion Company Limited of Asokwa in the Ashanti Region, Philip Asante also stated that Zoomlion Company Limited is disninfecting close to 3000 police installations across the region.

He added that the Chlorine Concentrate is not harmful to the human system hence, he cautions each and everyone to observe and practice the measures put in place to reduce the virus from spreading since it cannot be cured.

“The increase in the numbers are per a lot of factors. When installations are disinfected, it weakens the potencies of which the virus is spread from one person to the other” he explained.

“Every individual must obey all the protocols which has been laid down by the state” he advices.
