- Rawlings asked to be airlifted to US for treatment but Akufo Addo refused
This was made clear by Mugabe Maase while speaking on the radio program Inside Politics powered by Power Fm.
As he is identified in real life, Salifu Maase further claimed that Rawlings was supposed to be admitted to the 37-military hospital as a high-ranking military man and not to Korle-Bu Hospital.
“But he’s gone now. Nana Addo goes around as if he loves him,’ said Mugabe Maase.
Don’t forget, after he was admitted to the hospital a week ago, Jerry John Rawlings passed away at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
A lot of things happened between his family, the NDC party of which he was the founder, and the NPP, which is the ruling government, after his death, on how things should be done.
