“Rise and fight; Social media ‘noise’ won’t solve the problem – Shatta Wale tells youth

Self-acclaimed Dancehall King,  Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shattawale, has called on the youth of Ghana to rise and fight for their rights rather than using social media to fight.

Reacting to the murder of #FixTheCountry activist, Ibrahim Muhammed Shatta via a tweet, the ‘Gringo’ hitmaker revealed the youth should cease writing unnecessarily on social media but should hit the street, and fight for their lives.

As for Ghana dierr the problem is us the youth ..we can’t stand up and fight for our right ..Nonesense ..Everyday typing online …Massa that no go solve anything ooo, Rise and fight and stop writing this nonsense Essays !! Mek I tink; he tweeted

For months now, there have been calls on the leadership of the country to fix the country.

One activist, Ibrahim Muhammed was murdered for his constant calls on the leadership of the NPP to fix the country.

He was attacked in Ejura in the Ashanti Region which sparked protests in the Ejura township.

Unfortunately, the military that was invited to calm the situation has killed two more people and injured several.

The incident happened as the youth were protesting for justice following the death of the activist, popularly known as Kaaka.

The youth has vowed to sacrifice their lives until they get justice for him.
