Police have commenced investigations into an accident that killed three persons at Sefwi Juaboso in the Western North Region.
The bloody incident happened after the Kia truck with a registration number AS 5233-19 rammed into a tricycle which had parked along the road awaiting passengers.
Eye witnesses say the truck which had loaded foodstuff was moving at a top speed and lost control after attempting to overtake a vehicle ahead and subsequently run over a pregnant woman and her 5 year old child, killing them instantly.
The accident happened on the Juaboso-Asawinso highway.
The mortal remains have since been deposited at a nearby hospital.
